About

LOFT22 architecture was founded by Frédérique Lippens, engineer architect.

She is also galerist and curator of LOFT22 art space.

LOFT22 architecture is a creative design agency for overall concepts and cross-over projects (architecture-interior-art-antiques-objects), always looking for a fine balance between respecting the existing context/character and punctual out-of-the-box interventions.

This eclectic though minimalistic approach provides refined and at the same time durable/timeless results, whereby the clients' 'experience architecturale' is the central focus point.

With LOFT22 art space Frédérique wants to return to the intimacy that is lost in the sterile environment of the white cube gallery. Her 'apartment gallery' is an experience space in which the artworks are shown in a different way and where there is a personal contact between artist, public, curator and galerist. This return to the 'salons' is based on international concepts to be found in New York a.o., which is not surprising, as Frédérique has also lived in San Francisco.

LOFT22 as a whole is therefore a creative hub that wants to offer a platform for art & architecture, artistic & societal interactions.
