HOUSE S&T

Renovation of a duplex in the heart of Antwerp. We took the large width and the quite big existing windows as a starting point to turn a classic set-up of rooms into an open loft-feeling.

The large panels allow a flexibel division of the space into different zones.

A black steel staircase is the eye catcher of the house which leads to one open living&cooking space that can be completely opened to a large terrace upstairs.

We played with contrasts in the architecture to emphasise structuring elements.
