High-end fashion store conceived as a catwalk. A grid of 4x60cm was used as a base to transform an old narrow garage into a luxury shop. One of those gridlines has been executed in marble, embedded in the industrial concrete floor. From the marble ‘runway’ 4 volumes arise: the ‘etalage’ stand, the counter block, the sitting volume and the plant cube in the courtyard. The overall design and especially the shelving composition are based on abstract paintings from our art gallery LOFT22 art space. We love cross-over projects like this as much as our clients do.
